New Zealand's Surf Lifeguards undertake around 1700 first aid

Coastguard Boating Education (CBE) is a registered
training establishment with the NZQA. All courses are CBE courses
delivered by Lifesaving First Aid (LFA). Students are
enrolled with the registered entity that is CBE and all NZQA
credits are reported by the registered entity that is CBE to
NZQA.
