Pre Hospital Emergency Care Course (PHEC) (14473, 25411 & 25412)

Our Pre Hospital Emergency Care Course is designed to prepare first aiders who are most likely to respond to a medical emergency due to their occupation or interests, including fire fighters, police officers, lifeguards, emergency team leaders, high risk workplace safety officers or voluntary rescue teams and emergency response teams. This course introduces an enhanced patient assessment process, integration of advanced equipment and techniques.

The Pre Hospital Emergency Care course also meets all the requirements of NZQA unit standards 14473, 25411 & 25412.

Who should attend

Individuals who are designated workplace first aid officers in high risk workplaces or individuals that are most likely to respond to a medical emergency due to their occupation or interests. The pre-requisite for this course is a current workplace first aid certificate.
