The Paediatric First Aid courses are specifically designed to provide adults with the confidence, skills and know-how they need to provide first aid and care for common injuries sustained by infants and children in their care. In this customised course, Lifesaving First Aid will provide you with a hands-on approach to learning and will ensure that all participants come away with the confidence and ability to provide quick, accurate and effective care to children and infants in the any situation, and also discusses methods to identify potential hazards and how to deal with them.

This Course is approved by the Ministry of Education for staff and parents of Early Childhood Centres and is often described as the preferred programme. The Paediatric First Aid course also meets all the requirements of NZQA unit standard 26551, 26552 and 25459.

Who should attend?

Everyone that has responsibility for infants and children.
